"Kogaja-jima is a small volcanic island located NW of Nakano-shima. The andesitic lava domes were considered to be of late-Pleistocene to Holocene age (Nakano et al., 2001-). Kogaja-jima (Little Gaja Island) lies ESE of the larger Gaja-jima stratovolcano. The 301-m-high Kogaja-jima volcano displays minor fumarolic activity exposed in coastal cliffs."  -Smithsonian Volcano Archive
